Student Success Statement
“What’s right isn’t always popular. What’s popular isn’t
always right.”
-Howard Cosell
This statement is true. Sometimes the right thing
to do isn’t a very popular choice, and people may find themselves out casted
because they choose the right. An example of this is cursing, many people do
it, it’s popular, but it’s not the right thing to do. The right thing to do
would be not to curse, and that would be the less popular option. However, just
because something is popular doesn’t mean you should do it, the right thing to
do remains the right thing to do regardless of its popularity.
